Lantanas C.A. respects the privacy of everyone who visits this site. This document explains what data we collect, what we use it for, how long we keep it and how you can ask us to correct or delete it.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Lantanas C.A. Telecomunicaciones, based in Distrito Capital, Caracas, Venezuela. For any matter concerning your data, write to us at lantanasca@gmail.com.

What data we collect

We only collect the data you give us voluntarily when you fill in the contact form:

  • First and last name
  • Company or organisation (optional)
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Service of interest
  • The message you write to us

Along with the submission, our server records the IP address it came from and the date and time. That technical record is used solely to identify automated submissions and form abuse.

We do not ask for or store banking details, identity document numbers or sensitive information. We do not buy databases and we do not obtain your data from third parties.

What we use your data for

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a technical or commercial proposal.
  • To contact you by email or phone to define the scope of a project.
  • To keep an internal record of the requests we receive.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not send you newsletters you have not asked for, and we do not sell, rent or transfer your information to third parties.

Where it is stored and for how long

Requests are stored in files on the server hosting this site and are accessible only from the administration panel, which is protected by username and password. The system keeps the last 500 requests; older ones are deleted automatically. A copy of each request is also sent to the company's corporate email address.

Cookies and third-party services

This site uses no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no social media pixels and no visitor profiling.

The only cookie generated is technical: it is created exclusively when signing in to the administration panel and serves to keep that session open. Visitors to the public site receive no cookies at all.

To display its typography, the site loads fonts from Google Fonts. In doing so, your browser establishes a connection with Google's servers, which may record your IP address. We have no control over that processing; it is governed by Google's privacy policy.

Links to our social media open third-party sites with their own policies, for which we are not responsible.

Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect the information: panel access restricted with an encrypted password, protection against automated submissions and request forgery, and blocking of direct browser access to the data files. We recommend always browsing over HTTPS. No system connected to the Internet is completely invulnerable, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Under article 28 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, you have the right to know what data of yours we hold and what we use it for, and to request its updating, rectification or destruction.

To exercise that right, write to lantanasca@gmail.com stating what you want. We will deal with your request within a reasonable period and, if you ask for deletion, we will erase your record unless we must keep it to meet a current contractual or legal obligation.

Minors

This site is aimed at companies and professionals in the sector. It is not intended for minors and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we amend this policy, we will publish the updated version on this same page and change the effective date. We suggest reviewing it whenever you send us a new request.
